Captain Steve Hair's
love affair with the sea began as a boy ... sailing and fishing the indigo waters around Amelia Island, Florida.

Captain Steve, guest and his wife Wanda

Now he is the seasoned and skilled captain of "Ye Ole Pirate", a 36 foot pleasure fishing vessel, birthed in the scenic downtown Fernandina Beach Marina, located on the north end of beautiful Amelia Island, Florida.

Captain Steve still loves to share the excitement of the sea with others from around the world.

He and his wife Wanda founded the 'Anchors Aweigh Charters' charity in 1997.  They have been successfully making their love of fishing available to countless numbers of people who would otherwise not be able to get out on the water.
