How do I apply for a trip with AAC?
    Just print out the application found here: APPLICATION and fill it out.  Fax or mail your completed paperwork to us and we will contact you. All of the qualifying information and instructions can be found on the application.

What sort of verification do you need?
    We do not require that you send any confidential medical information. It can be something as simple as a note from your doctor stating that you are permanantly handicapped/disabled.

Can I bring a guest?
    Yes. We encourage you to take full advantage of our services and invite guests to come along.

How many guests can I bring on my trip?
    For your comfort and safety, it will depend on what type of trip you choose and if wheelchairs will be involved. Each trip is designed expecially for the applicant and the number of guests is determined by a few different factors.
We will need to discuss these factors with you before setting a guest amount.

Is there a charge for my guests?
    There are no fees for anyone on an Anchors Aweigh Charters trip. However, as in any service business, it is fine to tip the Captain and his volunteer mate for their time and hard work.

How long is an AAC trip?
    Your trip can be between one (1) and four (4) hours. It's up to you.

What kind of trips do you offer?
    Each trip is custom designed especially for you. It can range from a romantic sunset cruise with your spouse to an action packed fishing charter with your best buds. We can arrange some light river fishing just off the coast of Cumberland Island while watching the wild horses play along the beach. Let us know what you have in mind and we can make suggestions to make your trip perfect.

What about kids?
    We love kids. All children must wear PDF's (life jackets) while on board the boat. We have PDFs for ages 3 and up. An AAC trip is a great way to introduce a child to the sport of fishing. Captain Steve will share his 50 some years of experience to keep a younger applicant occupied. If they find that fishing is not their thing, he can take them on a dolphin watch or an eco tour.
